EXT. Central park - mid-day

PAN:Camera panning through park

A bright and sunny day with almost no clouds and little wind. The park was almost empty due to the football championship game being played several blocks away. The park is filled with lush green trees and an assortment of colored flowers. There is a slight breeze blowing peddles and leaves on the ground. There are virtually no shadows. Only person visible is an old lady sitting on a bench.

NARRATOR

Such a nice day in the park. I'm glad I have the park all to myself. Look at the beautiful trees, the lovely flowers and uhmmm some old lady. My, they give me the creeps.

This old lady is short and has a slight hunched back. She has her hair in a pony tail with big round glasses that cover most of her face. The wrinkles in her face sag. She wears a white blouse with a purple dress past her knees. Here purse is the size of a first grader's backpack and colored olive green.

A little boy and his mother are seen walking through the entrance of the park. The little boy is seen running around his mother with lots of excitement.

NARRATOR

Ohhh, he wants some candy...

Suddenly Jimmy's excitement changes to depression.

NARRATOR

Yes, now look at him. He realizes he made a mistake in not finishing his dinner, but yet he does'nt care, he just want some candy now.

EXT. CENTRAL PARK - MID-DAY - Park bench

WIDE: Half the bench showing with jimmy on far right

A partially shown bench with a bunch of candy wrappers laying on the ground next to it.

NARRATOR

Wait a minute Jimmy, What's that over there?

Jimmy looks up and quickly runs over to the wrappers.

MEDIUM CLOSE UP: jimmy by the wrappers

He starts ripping at them in hopes of finding some delicious candy in them.

He finds nothing and is once again sad.

He admits defeat and takes a seat on the bench.

PAN: Left

NARRATOR

Come on Jimmy, why don't you ever pay attention?

Jimmy glances over to the other side of the bench and finally sees the old lady that has been sitting there the whole time eating candy.

Jimmy then repositions himself and holds his hands out to her with a huge smile, shaking and quivering from all of the excitement he is feeling.

NARRATOR

Maybe it'll work this time!...

The old lady just sits there without acknowledging Jimmy's presence.

NARRATOR

Wow, this old lady is like a brick. No reaction at all. Hmmmm, don't give up just yet Jimmy I have an idea.

NARRATOR

Try to trade with her.

Jimmy grabs a stick.

NARRATOR

Yes, old ladys need a nice walking stick.

Old lady is not fazed and just glares at him while continuing to eat her candy.

NARRATOR

Hmmm, I got it Jimmy, give her a bunch of rocks so that she may protect herself.

Old lady glares at him a little more intensely as he tries to give her a bunch of rocks he found nearby.

NARRATOR

My that is such a huge purse, I wonder what does she carry around in there.

EXT. CENTRAL PARK - MID-DAY - PARK BENCH

Jimmy is still trying to give the old lady the rocks but she just continues to glare at him and eat her candy.

He sees that he is getting nowhere and gets angry all over again.

Jimmy is seen crying and throwing a tantra with his legs dangling off the bench swinging wildly back and forth.

NARRATOR

Awwwww... Poor poor Jimmy, don't give up just yet. Please stop, you look like you're three years old or something.

NARRATOR

Wait! Look Jimmy I think it may have worked

Seeing this, the old lady finally cracks and acknowleges him. She opens up her purse wide open and holds it towards Jimmy.

She motions for him to take some candy.

Jimmy instantly stops his act and his face lights up with joy.

NARRATOR

Go ahead Jimmy, go for it!

NARRATOR

Nooo wait Jimmy!!

Jimmy reaches his hands into the old lady's purse and he is quickly consumbed by it.

Pitch

Elevator Line
You better hide your dog, your car and your kids because old ladies with big old purses will get them if your not careful.
Pixar Style Pitch
Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Jimmy, who seemed to always be so excited. This boy loved candy, but hated vegetables very much. He often ignored his mother when she talked about the dangers of talking to strangers.

Every day, he would pretend to listen so that he may go out and play.

One day, he decided to not finish his dinner full of horrible vegetables, which just so happens to be the day he gets to go to the park.

Because of that, he wasn’t allowed to have any candy, no matter how much he pouted and begged.

Because of that, Jimmy got angry and stormed off in a fit, wondering why he couldn’t have his candy.

Until Finally, he meets an old lady with a huge purse full of candy. But, unfortunately he would also meet his end by getting swallowed up by this purse, all because he never paid attention to what his mother tried to teach him about talking to strangers.
